On 18 November 2009, PERWAKILAN AMMAN hosted the ?Egg Art and Malaysian Batik Exhibition? at the Malaysian Residence. Under the auspice of the Patron and Chairman of PERWAKILAN, H.E. Dato? Abdul Malek bin Abdul Aziz, Ambassador of Malaysia to Jordan and Datin Jamilah Talib, spouse to H.E. Ambassador, the event was graced with the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bint Talal and the attendance of approximately 63 countries representatives.
The exhibition was preceded with extensive discussion between Embassy of Malaysia and the office of Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bin Talal. H.E. Dato? Abdul Malek bin Abdul Aziz and Datin Jamilah Talib, accompanied by Ms Wong Chia Chiann, First Secretary/Head of Chancery had earlier called on HRH Princess Basma bin Talal to extend an invitation to Her Royal Highness.
The egg art and craft were the personal collections of Datin Jamilah Talib and each piece were exclusive designs. HRH Princess Basma was also shown the process of egg cutting.
The guests of honour were presented fashion show and pareo tying demonstration, where its models dressed in vast collection of Malaysian Batik, courtesy of CBT Premier Sdn. Bhd.
