On 7 September 2023, H.E. Datuk Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim presented a lecture before a group of 250 business students, on the role of vision in the transformation process of a nation (since Cambodia also operates with Vision 2050) at CamEd Business School Phnom Penh. In his lecture, H.E. Datuk Eldeen emphasized that a vision statement describes what a country or company desires to achieve in the long-run, generally in a time frame of five to ten years, or sometimes even longer. With vision comes mission and values. The students and H.E. Datuk Eldeen actively engaged in the Q&A session which has created an environment where students were motivated to learn how to be contributive to their nation after graduating. The Embassy of Malaysia wishes to accord its special thanks to Mr. Casey Barnett, the CamEd president, professors, and students who participated in this lecture, in ensuring the event was a smashing success.
