The Crown Prince of the Malaysian State of Perlis, DYTM Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, undertook a Special Visit of DYTM Tuanku Raja Muda of Perlis to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from 20–22 October 2023 to attend the launch ceremony “Masjid Ibadurrahman, Chroy Metre, Cambodia”. At the sideline of the visit, Embassy of Malaysia, in collaboration with PERWAKILAN Phnom Penh, were honoured to host Majlis Santapan Malam to welcome the arrival of DYTM to the Embassy of Malaysia . DYTM Tuanku Raja Muda of Perlis graced the event which was a precious opportunity for 100 Malaysians present to meet with DYTM Tuanku Raja Muda of Perlis in person. At the event, DYTM Tuanku presented Ibnu Sabil zakat and Perlis Islamic Religious Council’s contributions to the Embassy of Malaysia and Perwakilan Phnom Penh, respectively. DYTM Crown Prince of Perlis’s delegations carried out promotional cooking demos at My Kampong Cafe and Dakshin’s Phnom Penh, to promote Perlis’s Kurma Daging specialties, in line with Visit Perlis 2024/2025, and became part of the respective restaurants’s menu for a one-week promotion. The visit was a fruitful one and with many achievements and fond memories, as we humbly graced the presence of the Crown Prince of the people’s hearts, during the meaningful 3-day visit in Cambodia.
