The Embassy of Malaysia proudly hosted the Inaugural Malaysian Ambassador’s Football Shield Tournament at the Chea Sim Chroy Changvar High School. The event was aimed at further fostering strong bonds of friendship between Malaysians and Cambodians through sports diplomacy. A total of 20 teams participated in the football tournament. The tournament showcased a fantastic display of sportsmanship, camaraderie and talent by our Malaysian and Cambodian friends. CIMB Bank of Cambodia won the Shield with a 2-0 victory against Nagaworld 2-0 in the finals. TNB took third place in the match against Maybank. The Embassy wishes to accord its huge appreciation to all who participated in and supported the Tournament, in ensuring the success of this event.
