The Hon. Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu led Malaysia’s delegation to the 10th Food Security Ministerial Meeting held in Incheon, Republic of Korea on 10 August 2025. On the sidelines of the high-level gathering, he also held a bilateral meeting with his Korean counterpart, Hon. Dr. Song Mi-ryung, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, to discuss ways to deepen agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
Making the most of his brief visit, the Minister also paid a visit to Handawoon SL Co. Ltd, a halal-certified slaughterhouse, to explore halal market potential in Korea. A separate simple dinner was also organised with the staff of the Malaysian Embassy to connect and thank the team for their ongoing efforts on the ground.
