On 17 November 2025, His Excellency Dato’ Mohd Zamruni Khalid, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea (ROK) attended the 2025 Korea-ASEAN Business Networking Day: Expanding Trade & Partnership.
His Excellency delivered a congratulatory remark, highlighting the strong and growing economic partnership between ASEAN and Korea, including rising trade, complementary supply chains and new opportunities in digital economy, advanced manufacturing and the green transition. He also welcomed Korea’s initiative to upgrade the ASEAN–Korea FTA and reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment, as ASEAN Chair 2025 to deepen cooperation, support business linkages and advance sustainable, inclusive growth across the region.
