In keeping with long-standing tradition, the Seoul Foreign Correspondents’ Club (SFCC) hosted its annual Year-End Party on 9 December 2025 at the Korea Press Centre. More than 300 guests filled the venue, including journalists, members of the diplomatic corps, academics, and corporate leaders. The Embassy of Malaysia was represented by its Deputy Chief of Mission, who attended in his capacity as an SFCC member.
SFCC President Mr. Lee Wongbee opened the evening by expressing appreciation to members for their active engagement over the past year. This was followed by remarks from the Blue House, read on behalf of President Lee Jae-myung by Mr. Lee Kyu-yeon, Senior Secretary for Public Relations and Communications.
What followed was a relaxed, convivial night as guests mingled freely, catching up with old friends, forging new connections, and enjoying the rare chance to unwind amid the year’s hectic pace. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and quintessentially SFCC - a celebration of community, camaraderie, and the shared spirit of journalism in Seoul.
