The Hon. Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Local Government Development led the Malaysian delegation at 8th Asia-Pacific Urban Forum (APUF8) which was held from 23 – 25 October 2023 in the City of Suwon, Republic of Korea. The Hon. Minister participated in the High-Level Plenary Session on Urban and Territorial Planning as well as co-chaired the High-Level Forum which involved ministers and senior officials from other participating countries. At the side line of APUF8, the Hon. Minister had scores of other activities which include bilateral meetings with the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MoLIT), Undersecretary of UNESCAP, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, breakfast discussion with Shinhwa SnC as well as a day trip to Busan Eco Delta City. A separate interview was held with Kiho Ilbo, a local newspaper on the final day of the programme. Also in attendance throughout the programmes were the Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy, officials from MIDA Seoul and URBANICE Malaysia.
