A simple handing over ceremony of ASEAN Committee in Seoul’s (ASC) chairmanship from Lao PDR to Myanmar took place on 9 January 2024. It was held in conjunction with the farewell dinner in honour of Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva of Thailand who would end his tour of duty in Seoul soon. The second half of 2023 was filled with many activities that were organised in line with the spirit of ASEAN including the inaugural ASEAN Family Day that was held on 22 October 2023 at Banpo Park by the majestic Han River.
