In conjunction with his working visit to Seoul, Dato’ Tan Tian Meng, Executive Director and Chief Executive of the Malaysia – China Business Council (MCBC), paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Dato’ Mohd Zamruni Khalid, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea, at the Embassy of Malaysia on 20 May 2026.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for both sides to exchange views and update each other on the latest developments in their respective areas of engagement, particularly in relation to Malaysia’s economic diplomacy efforts and the evolving business landscape in East Asia. Discussions focused on recent trends in regional trade and investment, emerging opportunities for Malaysian businesses, as well as the growing importance of strengthening economic connectivity and business-to-business linkages across the region.
