As part of its inaugural mission to the Republic of Korea, a delegation from the Malaysian Muslim Travel Agency Association (MYTRA) paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Malaysia in Seoul on 9 July 2025. The visit was also attended by media representatives from RTM and BERNAMA, underscoring the significance of the engagement.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on a range of issues concerning the tourism industry, with particular emphasis on its potential growth in the host country in anticipation of the upcoming Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign. The Deputy Chief of Mission offered valuable insights into local customs, business etiquette, and the nuances of navigating the Korean market, guidance aimed at equipping the delegation for future collaborations and outreach efforts.
