On 11 July 2025, His Excellency Dato’ Mohd Zamruni Khalid, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea (ROK), received a delegation from Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. Ltd (KHNP). KHNP was led by Mr Lim Seung-Yeol, the Vice President of KHNP. The meeting provided a platform for both parties to explore and discuss the expansive potential for collaborative initiatives in the field of nuclear technology.
Ambassador Zamruni underscored the paramount importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in cutting-edge technologies, particularly in the nuclear sector, to foster mutual growth and progress. He further emphasised that such collaboration would not only facilitate invaluable knowledge exchange between the two nations but also significantly contribute to capacity building within the nuclear industry of both countries, paving the way for sustainable development and technological advancement.
