On 29 July 2024, a delegation from the Ministry of Transport of Sarawak (MOTS), led by YB Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, Minister of Transport of Sarawak undertook a benchmarking visit to Seoul, Republic of Korea (ROK) to gain insights into urban mobility and public transport management, intelligent transport system (ITS) and energy-efficient vehicle operations. During the visit, MOTS had a meeting with the Ministry of Transport and Logistics of ROK, visited T-money and Hyundai Motor Goyang Studio to learn from ROK’s transport improvement plans, mobility enhancement strategies and green initiatives.
