On 23 October 2024, His Excellency Dato' Mohd Zamruni Khalid, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea, hosted a dinner in honour of the Malaysian delegation from the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), Ministry of Finance (MOF), Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) in conjunction with the Fifth Round of Negotiations for the Malaysia-Korea Free Trade Agreement (MKFTA) at Mayfield Hotel, Gimpo, Republic of Korea, from 22-25 October 2024.
His Excellency took the opportunity to connect with the delegation, exchanging views on matters of mutual interest, particularly on the progress of the negotiations. Dato' Mohd Zamruni also expressed his confidence in the successful conclusion of the MKFTA, which is poised to significantly strengthen economic ties between Malaysia and the Republic of Korea.
