On 17 July 2025, His Excellency Dato’ Mohd Zamruni Khalid, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea, hosted a farewell dinner at his official residence in honour of His Excellency Sami M. Alsadhan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and His Excellency Antoine Azzam, Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon, on the occasion of the conclusion of their diplomatic tenure in the Republic of Korea.
The evening was graced by the presence of fellow members of the diplomatic corps, including Her Excellency Sindiswa Ntombolimo Mququ, Ambassador of South Africa; His Excellency Alisher Abdusalomov and Mrs. Nargiza Abdusalomov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan and spouse; His Excellency Amit Kumar and Mrs. Surabhi Amit Kumar, Ambassador of India and spouse; His Excellency Begench Durdyyev, Ambassador of Turkmenistan; His Excellency Khaled Abdel Rahman and Mrs. Dalia El Gohary, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt and spouse; and His Excellency Kais Darragi, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia.
The dinner served as a meaningful occasion to honour the distinguished service and invaluable contributions of the departing ambassadors in strengthening bilateral and multilateral ties during their tenure. It also reaffirmed the spirit of collegiality and friendship that unites the diplomatic community in Seoul, as well as the shared commitment to furthering peace, cooperation, and mutual respect among nations.
