On 1 June 2016, the Embassy of Malaysia had organized a farewell gathering for three (3) officers that will be ending their tour of duty by the end of June. The officers are Encik Nelson Samuel Wilson (Counsellor Investment), Cik Siti Fatma Omar (Second Secretary) and Encik Noor Arif Mohd Noor (Director Tourism Malaysia).
The farewell gathering also included the Ladies' Association of the Embassy of Malaysia (PERWAKILAN). The ladies bid farewell to Puan Victoria Nelson, Puan Safura Shafinaz Abdul Rahman and Cik Siti Fatma Omar.
