On 20 April 2026, His Excellency Dato’ Mohd Zamruni Khalid, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea (ROK), attended an exclusive Hansik dinner and an interactive Gujeolpan (Platter of Nine Delicacies) making session at the Lotte Hotel, Seoul. Joined by fellow members of the diplomatic corps, the event served as a vibrant platform for cultural diplomacy, allowing guests to experience the intricate artistry and nutritional philosophy behind traditional Korean royal cuisine.
During the session, His Excellency engaged in the hands-on preparation of Gujeolpan, a dish symbolising harmony and balance through its diverse colours and ingredients. Such cultural exchanges continue to play a vital role in fostering mutual understanding and strengthening the "People-to-People" ties between Malaysia–ROK bilateral relationship.
