H.E. Cho Tae-yul hosted an Iftar dinner at Four Seasons Hotel on 29 March 2024 in honour of the Muslim members of the diplomatic corps, members of the academic, media and cultural figures in conjunction with Ramadan. The tradition of hosting the Iftar dinner which started 20 years was premised on the desire to enhance mutual understanding between different cultures in Korea. Malaysia was represented by the Charge d’Affaires a.i. and a number of fellow Malaysians representing students and professional groups.
