Mr. Chee Yu Hee Bill, the newly assigned Second Secretary of the Embassy of Malaysia in Seoul, attended an introductory programme about the Republic of Korea for foreign diplomats at the Korea Diplomacy Centre on 2-3 December 2024.
The programme provided an overview of Korea’s history, economic development, and culture, as well as an explanation of the diplomatic privileges and immunities accorded to diplomats during their tenure in the Republic of Korea. This programme was aimed at fostering mutual understanding and strengthening diplomatic relations among participating nations. Additionally, it was of great importance to the diplomats navigating their responsibilities and opportunities while serving in Korea.
