On 15 January 2025, Honourable Woo Won-shik, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea hosted a luncheon for all Ambassadors and Charge d’Affaires of ASEAN Member States at Sarangjae, the traditional reception house, located within the compound of the august house. Also in attendance were the four Presidents-elect of the Parliamentary Friendship Group of Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore and Vietnam. The avenue was used by both parties to apprise each other on the latest developments and renew commitments to enhance parliamentary diplomacy.
