Malaysian Ambassador Presents Credentials to the President of the Republic of Korea

TYT Dato’ Ramlan bin Ibrahim presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Korea (RoK), Mr. Lee Myung-bak as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the RoK on 24 March 2009 at the Cheonghwadae – the Presidential Office. The ceremony was held in a brief but elegant manner. Present during the ceremony was H.E. Yu Myung-hwan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the RoK.

Immediately after the ceremony, a photography session was held and proceeded with an audience with the President. President Lee spoke highly of Malaysia and expressed the hope towards the enhancement of economic cooperation between Malaysia and RoK. He also expressed admiration for Malaysia’s economic development and its outstanding achievements.

 

After the ceremony, a Congratulatory Reception was held at the Embassy Hall in honour of Dato’ Ramlan. It was attended by all HBS and locally recruited staff.
