MARA BUSINESS MATCHING PROGRAMME

27 August 2025 1 views

In the lead-up to the K-Halal Expo 2025, held at COEX from 29 to 31 August, MARA took the initiative to connect Malaysian and Korean businesses through a specially curated business matching programme. Held on 27 August at Aloft Hotel, Myeongdong, the event brought together 13 bumiputera companies participating in the Expo and 28 Korean companies, all eager to explore halal-related trade and investment opportunities. The programme was organised in close collaboration with MATRADE Seoul, further strengthening Malaysia’s efforts to boost halal exports and business partnerships in South Korea.

The Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Malaysia in Seoul joined the event, spending an hour mingling with the entrepreneurs and exchanging views on shared interests and market challenges. His presence underscored the Embassy’s support for Malaysia’s business community and its ongoing commitment to promoting Malaysian products in Korea’s growing halal market. This proactive engagement served as a valuable platform for participating companies to network, explore partnerships, and gain insights into local market dynamics ahead of the Expo.
