On 14 April 2025, Director of Tourism Malaysia Seoul Ms Kamilia Hani and First Secretary Ms Izan Idayu Yusof met with Ms. Jiyoung Park, Director of the Korea Foundation ASEAN Culture House (KF ACH), to explore future cultural collaborations between ASEAN and the Republic of Korea (ROK). The meeting focused on strengthening Malaysia’s participation in ACH’s activities and programmes, with the goal of promoting deeper appreciation of Malaysian culture among Korean audiences. KF also shared updates on their Fellowship Programme for foreign diplomats, a meaningful platform for cultural exchange and language learning, in which Malaysia has been a proud and active participant. Both sides looked forward to working closely to further ASEAN-ROK cultural ties through joint initiatives and activities.
