H.E. Dato' Mohd Zamruni bin Khalid, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea, attended the naming ceremony of the three newly-built PETRONAS' LNG vessels at the Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) Shipyard in Ulsan on 1 July 2024. The vessels were named Puteri Sejinjang, Puteri Mahsuri, and Puteri Mayang, and were officiated by Mdm. Sharifah Fauziah Wan Idrus, the Lady Sponsor of the ships. These LNG carriers are expected to enhance PETRONAS' capacity to deliver liquefied natural gas efficiently and meet the expanding needs of PETRONAS’ global LNG business. On 2 July 2024, HE Ambassador took the opportunity to host a dinner for Mr. Adnan Zainal Abidin, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Gas Business and delegation from PETRONAS at Rumah Malaysia in Seoul.
