The Charge d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Malaysia was invited to attend the naming Ceremony of three PETRONAS’ LNG Vessels that took place in Ulsan on 19 January 2024. The three LNG vessels were named Puteri Santubong, Puteri Ledang and Puteri Saadong. In line with the tradition, the naming ceremony was officiated by Mdm Sharifah Fauziah Wan Idrus who acted as the Lady Sponsor (Godmother) of the three LNG vessels. Among the VIPs who were present at the said naming ceremony include Mr Adnan Zainal Abidin (COO of PETRONAS), Mr Lee Sang-kyun (CEO & President of Hyundai Heavy Industries) and Mr Lee Kyubong (President & CEO of Hyundai LNG Shipping). It was also attended by scores of other senior officials from both sides – PETRONAS and Hyundai.
