NOTICE ON HEAVY RAIN IN SEOUL METROPOLITAN AREA, GANGWON PROVINCE, CHUNGCHEONG AREA, JEONBUK AND GYEONGBUK
The Malaysian Embassy in Seoul wishes to inform fellow Malaysians in the Republic Korea on the heavy rain alert circulated by The Korea Meteorological Administration which could affected Seoul Metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, Chungcheong area, Jeonbuk and Gyeongbuk.
Please be informed that these areas/regions could experience heavy rains accompanied by thunder and lightning. Following this, there could be flooding on lowlands, rivers and reservoirs which could also effect the walkways and underpass.
Please refrain from camping and conduct outdoor activities that involves water (sea and river). Please also beware of construction sites, slopes, retaining walls, and shafts that could highly likely to collapse, and be aware of electric shock accidents due to vehicle in flooded areas.
