On 7 May 2026, Malaysia joined the other ten ASEAN Member States in the official launch of the ASEAN Panorama, a special five-month showcase organised by the ASEAN – Korea Centre at the ASEAN Hall in downtown Seoul.
Held under the theme “Bigger, Bolder, Broader: The New ASEAN In Every Detail,” the ASEAN Panorama seeks to highlight the diversity, dynamism and growing economic significance of ASEAN through an immersive exhibition featuring products, industries, culture and innovation from across the region.
The programme provides a unique platform for the Korean public, businesses and stakeholders to gain a deeper appreciation of ASEAN’s economic strengths, cultural richness and investment potential. Throughout the five-month exhibition period, participating ASEAN Member States will have the opportunity to showcase their flagship products, key industries, tourism attractions and distinctive cultural heritage, thereby promoting greater awareness and understanding of the region.
As ASEAN and the Republic of Korea continue to deepen their cooperation following the elevation of their relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, initiatives such as the ASEAN Panorama play an important role in bringing ASEAN closer to the Korean public while fostering greater mutual understanding and appreciation between the two sides.
