H.E. Dato’ Mohd Ashri Muda, Ambassador to the ROK with officials from MATRADE & MIDA Seoul attended the 2019 Korea-Malaysia International Halal Conference in conjunction with Halal Trade Expo Korea held at COEX, Seoul. The conference is organized by the Korean Food Research Institute (KFRI) & the Korean Institute of Halal Industry (KIHI) and hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs (MAFRA) & JAKIM.
The conference consisted of presentations on current halal policy trends, growth of the halal food industry and consumers’ characteristics in Malaysia as well as discussion over Korea-Malaysia cooperation for the advancement of the halal food industry.
