SPECIAL DIALOGUE SESSION WITH DR. HASSAN WIRAJUDA
‘’ASEAN CENTRALITY : IMPERATIVE TO MAKE IT STRONG AND COHESIVE’’

ASEAN – Korea Centre (AKC) had organised a Special Dialogue Session featuring Dr Hassan Wirajuda, former Foreign Minister of Indonesia at ASEAN Hall of AKC to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Indonesia – Republic of Korea diplomatic relations. The Dialogue was moderated by H.E Amb. Kim Hae-yong, Secretary-General of AKC and attended by all ASEAN Member States (AMS) either at the level of Ambassador or senior ranking official from the embassies respectively. H.E Datuk Lim Juay Jin represented the Embassy of Malaysia in Seoul at the said Dialogue. The participants, in general, exchanged views on a number of pertinent issues such as ASEAN Centrality, Indo-Pacific and what ought to be done to rejuvenate ASEAN as a regional body.

한-아세안센터는 한-인도네시아 수교 50주년을 기념하기 위하여 하산 위라유다 전 인도네시아 외교부 장관 특별 대담을 진행했다. 김해용 한-아세안센터 사무총장의 주재로 진행된 특별 대담에는 아세안 회원국 대사 또는 고위급 인사가 참석하였다. 다툭 림 쥐아이 진 주한 말레이시아 대사 또한 이날 대담에 참석하였으며 아세안 중심성, 인도-태평양 지역 및 지역기구로서 아세안 강화를 위한 방안 등에 대하여 의견을 나누었다.
