On 20 May 2025, Malaysia, serving as the Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Seoul (ACS), organised an official visit to the Hyundai Namyang R&D Centre. The visit showcased Malaysia’s dedication to deepening cooperation between ASEAN and key industry leaders, highlighting the shared commitment to advancing technology and innovation in the Republic of Korea (ROK).
During the visit, ambassadors and delegates were granted the exclusive opportunity to test drive Hyundai’s latest electric vehicle (EV) models. Participants enthusiastically experienced firsthand the high performance and cutting-edge features of these environmentally friendly vehicles, reflecting Hyundai’s dedication to sustainable innovation and its role in driving the future of green mobility.
