On 17 July 2025, His Excellency Dato' Mohd Zamruni Khalid, the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea had a meeting with Mr Joon Choi, Head of Global Growth Strategy of SK Hynix Inc., a leading company in the semiconductor industry in the Republic of Korea (ROK). Also in attendance were Mr Ruhizam Idris and Mr Derrick Tanggapan, Director and Deputy Director of MIDA Seoul, as well as Mr Bill Chee, Second Secretary of the Embassy. Following the meeting, the delegation participated in a factory tour to gain insights into the semiconductor manufacturing process.
