On 22 April 2026, His Excellency Dato’ Mohd Zamruni Khalid, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea (ROK) attended the World IT Show 2026 at COEX Convention & Exhibition Centre, Seoul.
The World IT Show 2026 attracted approximately 68,500 visitors and brought together leading AI and ICT companies including Samsung, LG, SK Telecom, and KT from the ROK and across the globe to showcase innovations and explore new opportunities. Under the theme "Beyond Idea, Into Action," the event highlighted the dawn of the "Physical AI" era, featuring the seamless integration of generative AI into robotics, K-AI semiconductors, and 6G telecommunications.
Malaysia remains committed to strengthening bilateral ICT ties and exploring strategic synergies that will drive the digital economy and technological innovation for both nations.
