Registration of Malaysians (Online)

For Malaysian who is residing, working, studying or visiting Kuwait, they are required to register their information to the Embassy of Malaysia in Kuwait especially in the event of any emergency or whenever consular assistance is needed.

Living and working abroad can be a wonderful and interesting experience. However, emergency situations may occur when you least expect them to. The Embassy of Malaysia therefore, strongly advice that all Malaysians should register with us so that we are able to contact you, either to offer help or to let your family and loved ones know that you are safe.

Furthermore, having been registered with the Embassy, we can send any important messages directly to your e-mail or through the MalaysianinQ8 group mail. The more details you leave with us, i.e. phone numbers, address, as well as your email, the easier it is for us to help you in situations of crisis. Furthermore, the requirement to register with the Malaysian Embassy is highlighted on the last page of our passports.

In this regard, we encourage all Malaysians that are working and living in Kuwait to register with us.  Registration is free and forms are available at the Embassy. Alternatively, the Registration form for Malaysians abroad can be downloaded via this website. Completed forms must be submitted to the Embassy during the Embassy's working hours, Sunday-Thursday.

Required Documents:

i. Duly complete the Registration Form for Malaysians abroad.

ii. One (1) passport-size photographs. 

iii. One (1) copy for passport.

iv. One (1) copy of Malaysian IC.

Note:

i. For those with family, it would be sufficient to fill up only one (1) Registration form. Similarly, please provide photos and copies of the above said documents of each family member.

ii. Please bring along passports of you and your family for the registration process.

iii. You may register even before obtaining the Kuwaiti residence permit/work permit.
