ASEAN Heads of Mission Appear on Kuwait Television Channel 1 Good Morning Show

ASEAN Heads of Mission in Kuwait, from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Vietnam, as well as the Charge d'Affaires of Thailand appeared live on Kuwait Television Channel 1 Good Morning Show from 8.20 until 8.40 this morning 22 November 2011.  The daily KTV1 Good Morning Show was anchored by Ahmad Al-Wasmi and was in Arabic.  The KTV 1 Good Morning Show was held at the Residence of the Ambassador of Indonesia, current Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Kuwait (ACK).

At the KTV1 Good Morning Show this morning, viewers were informed on the outcome of the recently concluded ASEAN Summit Meeting by Ambassador Ferry Adamhar of Indonesia, on the history of ASEAN by Ambassador Shulan Primavera of the Philippines, on ASEAN economic achievements by Ambassador Thongphachanh Sonnasinh of Laos, on the ASEAN Community 2015 by Ambassador Dato' Adnan Haji Othman of Malaysia, on ASEAN Committee in Kuwait (ACK) by Ambassador Pengiran Haji Mustapa bin Pengiran Aji Aliuddin and on Myanmar's Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2014 by Ambassador Ko Ko Latt of Myanmar.  In view of the limited 20 minutes time slot for the live morning show, each Ambassador was given two (2) minutes to respond to the questions posed by anchor Ahmad Al-Wasmi who then translated the answers in Arabic for the viewers.
