HM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong and HM Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong made a state visit to the State of Kuwait from 30 November - 2 December 2008.
HM SPB Yang di-Pertuan Agong was offcially received and welcomed by HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
During the state visit, HM SPB Yang di-Pertuan Agong received courtesy calls by HE Jassem Al-Kharafi, Speaker of the National Assembly and HH Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait.
HM SPB Yang di-Pertuan Agong also made a courtesy call to HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait.
Additionally, HM SPB Yang di-Pertuan Agong and HM SPB Raja Permaisuri Agong also visited several Kuwaiti landmarks and hosted a lunch for the Malaysian community in Kuwait.
HH the Amir of the State of Kuwait also hosted a state banquet in honour of SPB Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
