Tan Chong Motor (Laos) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme
at Nong Song Hong School, Vientiane, Monday, 22 May 2017

Tan Chong Motor (Lao) Sole Co., Ltd. (TCML), in collaboration with the Embassy of Malaysia in Vientiane, organized an event to handover school supplies to Nong Song Hong School in Vientiane Province on Monday, 22 May 2017.
The school which provides education to over 700 students, warmly welcomed the Ambassador of Malaysia, His Excellency Mr Mohd. Aini Atan, and TCML team led by its Chairman Dato' Than Tai Hing. The Head Mistress of the school Ms. Sonenaly Manylay, teachers and parents were happy to receive the contributions from TCML. Dato' Than Tai Hing, delivered the TCML's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) speech during the presentation of items at the school. Text of his speech is attached herewith.
“The items presented today are to support the school in providing a more conducive learning environment to the school-going children. Education and learning is an integral part of growing up and we hope that with the support items that we have presented, the students will be able to study in a more comfortable environment." commented Dato' Than Tai Hing, during the presentation of the items to the school, alongside with His Excellency Mr. Mohd Aini Atan.
Among the items presented are desktop computer, long chairs for all the class rooms, various stationeries and provisional items. After presenting the items to the school, Tan Chong Motor (Lao) officials and guests were taken on a brief tour around the school. The students and parents were also served with light refreshments sponsored by TCML.
