The Embassy of Malaysia in Yangon had organised a reception to commemorate the 58th National Day and 82nd Armed Forces Day of Malaysia on Monday, 31 August 2015 which was held at Sule Shangri-La Hotel in Yangon. The function was attended by a total number of 341 guests encompassing government officials, diplomatic community, Malaysian residing in Myanmar as well as local private sector. The guest of honour was the Union Minister of Foreign Affairs, U Wunna Maung Lwin, who represented the Myanmar Government. He was accompanied by his spouse, Daw Lin Lin Tin. Judge Advocate General, Lieutenant General Ye Aung and his spouse, Daw Khine May Kyu were also present during the function.
