Matrade Event

HE Dr. Ahmad Faisal Muhamad officiated Matrade's Specialised Marketing Mission for the Oil and Gas Industry on 29 November 2011. The Event took place at the Parkroyal Hotel. About 20 companies from Malaysia took part in the programme. They were briefed by representatives from Petronas, Total, ESSAR and Consultants in the oil and gas industry about oppurtunities and challenges that exist in Myanmar. They also visited Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) and the Thanlyin oil just outside Yangon. There was also a business matching session held at the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers and industry (UMFFCI). In his speech, HE Dr. Ahmad Faisal encourrages the Malaysian private sector to intensify their activities in Myanmar bearing in mind current positive developments that are happening in the country.
