OFFICIAL VISIT BY THE CHIEF OF STAFF OF MALAYSIAN ARMED FORCES AND MEMBERS OF THE MALAYSIAN ARMED FORCES DEFENCE COLLEGE TO THE UNION OF MYANMAR

On 18 March 2009, Lt. General Dato’ Haji Shahron bin Haji Ibrahim, Chief of Staff of Malaysian Armed Forces headed the delegation of the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College for the annual regional study tour to the Union of Myanmar.The Delegation visited the Embassy of Malaysia in Yangon on 20 March 2009 and they were briefed by H.E Dato’ Mazlan Muhammad, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Union of Myanmar on the current political and economic situation in Myanmar. Following that, the delegation visited the Defence Service Museum, Gem Museum and National Races Village in Yangon.
