Tourism Malaysia Mini Showcase 2011

Tourism Malaysia organised a mini Showcase at the Parkroyal Hotel on 1 December 2011. The objectives of the mini showcase include to provide opportunities for tour operators from both countries to network and explore possibilities for co-operation in promoting tourism to Malaysia, as well as Myanmar. Guests of honour at the event were HE U Soe Min, Yangon Minister for Tourism, and for Agriculture and Livestock Breeding, and HE Dr. Myint Thein, Yangon Minister for Social Affairs. The event was also attended by HE Dr. Ahmad Faisal Muhamad, Ambassador of Malaysia and senior officials from Tourism Malaysia based in Putrajaya and Bangkok. About 20 tour operators from Malaysia participated in the event.
