On 28 April 2020, an eight-member medical consultant expert team from China made a courtesy call on YB Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Deputy Chief Minister / Head of Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) at Petra Jaya, Kuching. The visit to Sarawak is part of the Malaysia-China cooperation in managing Covid-19 through the exchange of experience and information. Wisma Putra was represented by Mr. Monty Ludan, Director of Sarawak Regional Office at the call.
