The Sarawak Regional Office delivered talks on Consular matters during “Majlis Pemimpin Bersama Ibubapa” (Meeting session by the leader with parents) by the respective State Legislative Assembly Member (ADUN) held at SK Serabak, Kampung Serikin, Bau on 18 July 2016 and Kampung Tringgus, Bau on 25 July 2016. The sessions were jointly conducted by the Education Office of Bau District with the organising committees of SK Serabak including village committee members of Kampung Serikin and Kampung Tringgus, respectively.
The Sarawak Regional Office participated in the programme as part of its Outreach programme. Mdm Gloria Tiwet, Director of Sarawak Regional Office delivered talks in providing information and awareness on roles and functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia and Sarawak Regional Office, focused on consular services and advice on matters directly affecting the audience at Kampung Serikin and Kampung Tringgus. The sessions received very good response from the audience.
