Starting from 29th May 2017, Malaysian Government has implemented the travel / tourism eVISA Programme, exclusively for Chinese, Indian, Nepal, Sri Lankan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Serbia and Montenegro's passport holders, who are legally residing in Africa.
Chinese, Indian, Nepal, Sri Lankan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Serbia and Montenegro citizens residing in the said region can apply through the official eVISA application website: - www.windowmalaysia.my
The eVISA Programme for other nationalities will be expanded soon. However, application for other types of visa for Chinese, Indian, Nepal, Sri Lankan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Serbia and Montenegro citizens residing in the region must be done in person at the Visa Office of the High Commission of Malaysia in Abuja.
Upon approval, the eVISA will grant the applicants a single-entry travel / tourist visa to Malaysia, with the maximum length of stay of 30 days. The eVISA is valid for three months from the date of approval and applicants must enter Malaysia within that period.
A processing fee will be incurred apart from the visa fee. Applicants will be alerted via email on their eVISA approval within 24 hours (applicable only during working days). Applicants need to self-print the eVISA and bring it with them when travelling to Malaysia.

{C}2. {C}The issuance of eVISA is subject to the approval of Visa Office in High Commission of Malaysia in Abuja (The regional hub for Africa).
{C}3. {C}The Visa Office has the right to request for an additional document or to conduct an interview at the High Commission or via video conference.
{C}4. {C}All communication will be done through email. Kindly monitor your email.
{C}5. {C}Applicants are required to have a printed copy of the approved eVISA and must be presented upon arrival at the entry points in Malaysia, together with the following documents:
{C}o {C}Sufficient expenses to cover the whole duration of stay in Malaysia
{C}o {C}Return flight ticket
{C}o {C}Proof of accommodation
