SURAT AKU JANJI DAN INDEMNITI / LETTER OF UNDERTAKING AND INDEMNITY FOR RETURNING MALAYSIANS AND NON-MALAYSIANS

25 May 2020 1 views
On 21 May 2020, the Government of Malaysia has made a decision that all Malaysians returning to Malaysia from 1 June 2020 onward will be required to pay 50% of the 14-day quarantine fees (as Malaysia continues to impose compulsory quarantine on those who return from abroad). This also applies to Non-Malaysians who wishes to go to Malaysia after the said date, where they will be required to pay 100% of the quarantine fees.

Malaysians and Non-Malaysians will need to complete and sign a written letter to agree to pay for the quarantine (Letter of Undertaking), before they are allowed to return to Malaysia.

In accordance to this new requirement, Malaysians who wish to return  must receive an approval letter from the High Commission of Malaysian in Abuja after completing the Letter of Undertaking (LoU) to agree to adhere to this new requirement.
