The New Year is a time for joyous celebration, a time for reflecting on the year gone by and a time for renewed purpose and hope for the year ahead. What better way to do this than among a gathering of friends?
Ambassador Dr Fauziah did exactly that, hosting a New Year gathering for Friends of Malaysia at Rumah Malaysia Wassenaar. It was a pleasant evening of good food and great conversation, with guests coming from as far as Limburg to attend the event. It was a diverse set of guests in attendance – including businessmen, entrepreneurs, academia and the media; however all with a shared interest and goodwill towards Malaysia. The President of the Netherlands – Malaysia Association, Prof. Frietman presented a large bouquet of roses and a gift to Ambassador Dr Fauziah, as a gesture of appreciation for the warm hospitality in hosting the gathering. |
