Mr. Fadli Adilah, the Charge d' Affaires a.i. of the Malaysian Embassy in Kathmandu hosted the Reception to commemorate the 56th National Day of Malaysia, in the afternoon of Sunday 1 September 2013, at Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu.
The Honourable Home and Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Madhav Prasad Ghimire was the Chief Guest and graced the occasion. Among the invitees were; Nepali government dignitaries and officials; the ambassadors and heads of mission and diplomats in Kathmandu; businessmen and traders alike; fellow Malaysians residing in Nepal; friends of Malaysia; and including the media and travel agencies' representatives.
The Malaysia Airlines also celebrated its First Year Anniversary of operation in Kathmandu. Malaysia Airlines operates daily flight to Kathmandu since 1 June 2013
