In conjunction with the assumption of Chairmanship of ASEAN 2015 by Malaysia from 1 January 2015, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to announce the official launch of its dedicated website http://asean2015.gov.my
The web portal is intended to provide extensive coverage, information, updates and news on important events that will take place in 2015 during the Chairmanship.
This dedicated website is also designed to provide quick and easy access to essential information to assist ASEAN and other related member countries´ delegations, local and foreign media, and other related agencies to undertake online registration for accreditation and issuance of security passes. Visual information in video format and photo gallery will also be made available.
The website will also function as an outreach platform to disseminate information on ASEAN and Malaysia’s Chairmanship to promote more awareness about the organisation and its various benefits to the ASEAN Community, consistent with the overarching theme of Malaysia’s Chairmanship that is “People Centred ASEAN”.
