HBS and LRS of the Embassy of Malaysia, Kathmandu, Nepal hosted farewell dinner for His Excellency Dato’ Ilankovan Kolandavelu and Datin Kala Raju as well as for Ms. Maznah Majid, P.A to Ambassador at Tukuche Restaurant, Lazimpat on 2nd June 2011 at 5.00pm. His Excellency Dato’ Ilankovan Kolandavelu is finishing assignment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Nepal and leaving Kathmandu on 11th June 2011.His Excellency Dato’ Ilankovan Kolandavelu is assigned to serve as Ambassador of Malaysia to Spain, Madrid after completing his assignment in Nepal. His Excellency Ambassador dedicatedly headed Embassy of Malaysia in Nepal from November 2007 to 11th June 2011.All the HBS and LRS are welcome by Information Officer. Second Secretary and Third Secretary delivered thanking speech for His Excellency Ambassador. His Excellency Dato’ and Ms. Maznah Majid also delivered speech for all HBS and LRS. Nepali Thakali food was served during dinner. And gift was presented to His Excellency Ambassador & P.A to Ambassador from all HBS & LRS. We wish His Excellency Dato & Datin and Ms. Maznah Majid success in their future endeavors.
His Excellency Dato’ and Datin Kala Raju also hosted a dinner at Hotel Soatlee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu on 7th June, 2011 at 7.00pm. Selected guests from government office, media, businessman, ambassadors and senior authorities were invited. After the welcome speech by Information Officer, His Excellency Ambassador delivered a speech. Malaysian dinner was served during the occasion.
