A group of 21-delegate from the International Women's Association of Kuala Lumpur (IWAKL) Malaysia was visiting Nepal, from 12 to 18 April 2012. They were touring Nagarkot, Pokhara, Chitwan and Kathmandu.
In this juncture, the Embassy took the advantage to introduce IWAKL to AWON (Active Women of Nepal), as an opportunity to start the good relations between both parties, by organizing a brunch-gathering at the Embassy, on 18 April.
The president of AWON, together with 7 of its member, attended the event and has exchanged views, experiences and discussed future cooperation with the members of IWAKL.
