1. In line with the efforts of the Malaysian Government to contain the spread of COVID-19, it has decided that with effect from 10 June 2020, all Malaysians and non-citizens having permission to enter Malaysia will need to undergo a mandatory self-quarantine period of 14 days upon arrival after they have been cleared from COVID-19 by the Ministry of Health, and will be monitored through the “MySejahtera” phone application.
2. Those entering Malaysia will need to download the “MySejahtera” phone application and complete the personal details field, prior to arrival.
3. Health screening will be carried out upon arrival. Any Person under Surveillance (PUS) with COVID-19 symptom/s will be referred to hospital for treatment.
4. With this latest guidelines, PUS no longer have to complete the Letter of Undertaking (LoU) and obtain the Journey Permission Letter from the High Commission.

7. After obtaining entry approval from the Director-General of Immigration, non-citizens must take the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test or COVID-19 swab test within three days before entry into Malaysia.

9. Those who wish to travel to Sarawak must observe the following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP):
i. Complete the e-Health Declaration form on http://sdmc.sarawak.gov.my.
ii. Download the state government's COVID Trace and Qmunity apps for digital contact tracing.
iii. All Sarawakians returning from overseas will be quarantined for 14 days in designated hotels and have their samples taken for testing on the 10th day.
iv. Malaysians entering Sarawak who have travelled overseas in the past one month will be quarantined for 14 days and have their samples taken for testing on the 10th day.
v. Non-citizens with valid work permit and visa (including MM2H) entering Sarawak will be quarantined for 14 days at own cost.
